It is with a sad and heavy heart that I am writing this. After 20 years pounding his skins with After Dark, Steve, youngest and founder member of After Dark is hanging up his sticks and retiring from the music scene.
What can I say about him? Well I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say Steve I probably the best drummer we have ever had! Always rock solid at the back, driving us relentlessly onwards and sometimes even making us sound like the complete article.
Anyway we've got a new one so panic over !!!!
(Only joking Steve! You will be sadly missed)
Steve's last gig with us will be on 25th April at the Roman Bath York and we would like all our fans to be there to see him off in style. If York I too far check the gig list for dates up to then.
Finally if any-one has any photo's of Steve and would like to see them on the website please feel free to drop us an Email and attach them.
Unfortunately we can't return any of your photos but they will be greatly appreciated!!
